Update: 7 X 2020

A wild YN update appears!

Only two strips, but they’re the final two strips before a series of takoma pages; I’m not going to wait until I’m done with #439 before giving you these. You’ve waited enough, I’m sure you’re all agree.

Donphan in the room: Yonkoma Nuzlocke’s updates are back to being insufferably infrequent and random. I’m afraid this might continue to be the case for a while, as there’s just more and more on my life plate now and it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna die down anytime soon. I don’t intend to drop the comic, but it might take me some time to figure out how much of it I can do and how often. Unfortunately, there’s just no way it can be near the top of my priority list like it used to be back when it started.

In other words: thank you for reading as always. Keep checking in, but don’t hold your breath for now. I’ll do my best to deliver the upcoming takoma pages as soon as possible. I have quite a lot of surprises for you in those.

Update: 26 V 2020

For those of you who somehow haven’t lost faith, here it is: an update at long last. Four more pages of four-panel goodness*, I hope you enjoy it.

I will do my best to minimize future breaks in-between updates. Once a month is going to be the new minimum. Or maybe not. Sorry about this, everyone. I’ll come back as soon as possible, but… life.

The first new update of the year is here and it’s a Valentine’s Day special. Hope you like bizarre nonsense, ’cause it’s a Bill-heavy page!

My apologies for it taking longer than expected for me to get back into the swing of things. I assure you, YN is very much alive. I’ll keep you up-to-date, thank you in advance for being patient.

Transfer Complete!

Good news, everybody: the entirety of Yonkoma Nuzlocke has now been successfully uploaded onto this site.

The Author Comments are restored, so are the hover-texts – some of those contain little additional “future-updates” from the me who was reuploading them years after – though for the most part I tried to keep them entirely as they where. There was one hover-text in particular that made me almost spit my drink when I found it – you’re all welcome to reread the comic and discover why.

The upload dates also remain as they were, though I didn’t pay attention to the hours, so for some of you they could have shifted a day in either direction, depending on the time zone. Not that it matters much.

The menu above now shows the Comic List, where you can check the archive. It’s different from the dropdown menu we had on SmackJeeves and it’s not quite as elegant as I’d like, but it showcases the covers now. I guess they do contain some spoilers for new readers, but I figure they also promise the improvement in art-style and showcase potentially interesting stuff to interest newcomers. So it’s okay.

The next update I hope to have ready sometime in early Fabruary and I’m going to be working on a new Cast Page. I plan to launch it with only a few characters and gradually add to it in time. This one’s gonna be very different from what it used to be, as I have a surprise planned… But for now, it’s all shush-hush.
