Yonkoma Nuzlocke in 2022

Sooo… You know this one Rattata-heavy Nuzlocke comic that apparently some people enjoy? Well, I checked it out recently and wow, it’s actually really fun. How come none of you told me? Man, I hope the next update drops soon.

Alright, lemme level with you for a second. Where have I been and what’s been going on since the last YN update over 15 months ago?

The good news is I’m not dead. Haven’t even caught covid all this time, though I might try to soon, what with the Omicron variant being essentially a vaccine, except more like the old-fashioned ones that actually provided immunity, and with less symptoms after taking it.

There have been much some less fortunate developments during my absence, sure, but screw’em – let’s talk about Yonkoma Nuzlocke.

Update: 7 X 2020

A wild YN update appears!

Only two strips, but they’re the final two strips before a series of takoma pages; I’m not going to wait until I’m done with #439 before giving you these. You’ve waited enough, I’m sure you’re all agree.

Donphan in the room: Yonkoma Nuzlocke’s updates are back to being insufferably infrequent and random. I’m afraid this might continue to be the case for a while, as there’s just more and more on my life plate now and it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna die down anytime soon. I don’t intend to drop the comic, but it might take me some time to figure out how much of it I can do and how often. Unfortunately, there’s just no way it can be near the top of my priority list like it used to be back when it started.

In other words: thank you for reading as always. Keep checking in, but don’t hold your breath for now. I’ll do my best to deliver the upcoming takoma pages as soon as possible. I have quite a lot of surprises for you in those.

For those of you who somehow haven’t lost faith, here it is: an update at long last. Four more pages of four-panel goodness*, I hope you enjoy it.

I will do my best to minimize future breaks in-between updates. Once a month is going to be the new minimum. Or maybe not. Sorry about this, everyone. I’ll come back as soon as possible, but… life.

The first new update of the year is here and it’s a Valentine’s Day special. Hope you like bizarre nonsense, ’cause it’s a Bill-heavy page!

My apologies for it taking longer than expected for me to get back into the swing of things. I assure you, YN is very much alive. I’ll keep you up-to-date, thank you in advance for being patient.
