For those of you who somehow haven’t lost faith, here it is: an update at long last. Four more pages of four-panel goodness*, I hope you enjoy it.

I will do my best to minimize future breaks in-between updates. Once a month is going to be the new minimum. Or maybe not. Sorry about this, everyone. I’ll come back as soon as possible, but… life.
The first new update of the year is here and it’s a Valentine’s Day special. Hope you like bizarre nonsense, ’cause it’s a Bill-heavy page!
My apologies for it taking longer than expected for me to get back into the swing of things. I assure you, YN is very much alive. I’ll keep you up-to-date, thank you in advance for being patient.
Good news, everybody: the entirety of Yonkoma Nuzlocke has now been successfully uploaded onto this site.
The Author Comments are restored, so are the hover-texts – some of those contain little additional “future-updates” from the me who was reuploading them years after – though for the most part I tried to keep them entirely as they where. There was one hover-text in particular that made me almost spit my drink when I found it – you’re all welcome to reread the comic and discover why.
The upload dates also remain as they were, though I didn’t pay attention to the hours, so for some of you they could have shifted a day in either direction, depending on the time zone. Not that it matters much.
The menu above now shows the Comic List, where you can check the archive. It’s different from the dropdown menu we had on SmackJeeves and it’s not quite as elegant as I’d like, but it showcases the covers now. I guess they do contain some spoilers for new readers, but I figure they also promise the improvement in art-style and showcase potentially interesting stuff to interest newcomers. So it’s okay.
The next update I hope to have ready sometime in early Fabruary and I’m going to be working on a new Cast Page. I plan to launch it with only a few characters and gradually add to it in time. This one’s gonna be very different from what it used to be, as I have a surprise planned… But for now, it’s all shush-hush.

This blog will be used to keep you up to date. Another benefit from transferring to a dedicated page – previously, I wouldn’t want to disrupt the story progression and only did update posts for real big matters. Considering I was already planning to change my update schedule significantly, I’m probably going to make a post with every update from now on, so that the home page always lets you know when new pages drop.
I’m continuing working this place out. Right now, uploading the previous chapters takes all my time and attention. As I’m writing this, Chapter I and II are fully up. I hope to be done within the month, but unfortunately there’s… a lot of pages. When did I draw all this, my Lord. And it’s one crazy nostalgia trip too.
There’s one change I have decided on that you should know. The pages known previously as [Bigs] are going to be renamed to fit with the theme of yonkoma (four panels) and sankoma (three panels). They are now takoma (multi-panel) pages. I mean, even the Q&A strips I pseudo-Japanese’d into kyuuenei, so the [Bigs] were always the outliers.
After I reupload the entirety of Yonkoma Nuzlocke here, a new Cast page is next, and then the Elemental Theory page. So yeah, drawing new pages is gonna be delayed, though when I get completely sick of copy-pasting, I might draw just for the change of pace. I think all this is going to be worth it though – we’re already looking better than the new SmackJeeves.
I encourage you to take this opportunity to re-read the retro pages and maybe post a comment or two. I’m starting to think recovering the old comments is gonna be too much and I’d hate to have over 400 pages with zero reader feeback underneath.
