This is why you don’t use legendaries. They’ll just throw lightning around all haphazardly and screw you over right when you’re about to apprehend a villain, allowing said villain to not only escape, but kidnap two of your allies. We’ve all been there.

You might think that both on page #440 and this one, I simply forgot to draw Surge’s iconic sunglasses, but you couldn’t be more wrong. He took them off himself because it was already dark due to the thunderstorm. I hope we’re clear on this; it’s not a conveniently logical explanation that I’m jumping on to justify my mistake, it’s a decision made beforehand because I’m a good writer who makes his character make logical choices depending on the circumstances. I didn’t just forget. That’d be silly.
