Yonkoma Nuzlocke: Fire Red

Here we go with more Elemental Theory and, much more importantly, more Anzu.

That’s right, to nobody’s surprise Dark is the sneaky Element of Manipulation and the recent Gym battle was a demonstration. Even with the best intentions, Dark types just default to fooling and tricking you. Back on page #099, when I first gave a subtle hint on Elemental Theory being a thing, Mr. Zaiji used a Sableye’s Dark tendencies to save Brom from Rocket clutches – which was itself a pretty Dark-type play. Admittedly, Sableye’s Ghost typing played an even greater role in that, but that’s for another time.
