I believe the Pokémon most commonly given to Copycat is Ditto, but if I may offer a counterargument, there’s only one Pokémon that literally lives by and for its costume. And that Pokémon is Pikachu, obviously. And Tutu is a very skilled little Electric type, capable of quickly creating all kinds of clothes with her mischievous trainer. Like I’ve hinted throughout the comic already, Copycat and Tutu already sell high-quality costumes and have earned themselves a great reputation.

Hey, we have Fezandipity, our first Gen IX Pokémon debuting properly in the comic itself, outside of the usual “new generation specials”. And that wouldn’t be so strange to me if not for the fact not a single Gen VIII Pokémon has appeared yet. A single Gen VIII regional form of a Gen I Pokémon barely got a small hair-allusion in Gary’s weird mindscape, but I swear there’s plenty of mons from Galar that I like. I’m definitely gonna draw some of them here and there eventually.

Some of you might instead be wondering how Anzu got her hands on a Legendary Pokémon. And my answer is that Fezandipity… isn’t really a Legendary Pokémon. There’s clearly a difference between, say, ancient planet-altering titans of earth, oceans and skies… and a trio of hoodlums celebrated in a single village they’re not native to. Fezandipity isn’t legendary – a Fezandipity happens to be a subject of a rural tale. Even Pokémon like Volcanion or Zarude are just… rare and powerful Pokémon, nothing more. The only reason the “Legendary” or “Mythical” label is slapped on some of these Pokémon is that they’re one-per-game rewards. I would much rather a third term, say “Quest Pokémon”, be used, personally. And yes, I am very much aware that by that logic even Mewtwo’s Legendary status might be questioned… and rightfully so! Yes, it’s powerful and it’s genetically related to the Mythical Mew, but what “legend” is there about it? That it was man-made? So what, is Porygon a Legendary Pokémon now too? Really, the only argument here is that there exists only one Mewtwo – and the movies have managed to f*ck even that one up somehow, not that I consider those a reliable canon in the slightest.

Tl;DR – In Yonkoma Nuzlocke universe Fezandipity is just a really rare Pokémon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And the Doylist reason Anzu has a Fezandipity is that I didn’t want to give her a Crobat and GameFreak’s weird dedication to never ever giving us another Poison/Flying type has officially reached the levels of absurdity now that we have a visibly airborne bird Pokémon that’s weak to Ground. I was actually excited to use this combo without using the Zubat line, but that’d be unforgivable apparently.

In other news, we’re back to Cerulean! Wow, it’s been so long. Moment of silence for Zea please.
